Indiploy

Using Indiploy in Singapore

Indiploy is an international product, built for Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Singapore. Run roles in Singapore alongside the others: choose the country when you create a role, and amounts, labels and employer cost follow it.

What is set up for Singapore

  • Amounts in Singapore dollars
  • Employer CPF set by each person's residency and age: 17% for citizens and permanent residents aged 55 and under, lower for older staff and new permanent residents, none for foreigners on work passes
  • Skills Development Levy of 0.25% on the first 4,500 dollars a month, for every employee
  • No employer tax added to benefits
  • Minimum annual leave of 7 days in the first year, rising to 14
  • A take-home estimate after employee CPF and income tax, for residents and non-residents

Rates checked against CPF Board: https://www.cpf.gov.sg/conrate2023

What works in every country

  • Each role has a country. Amounts are shown in that country's currency and labels follow the country
  • True cost adds the main employer charges for the country. Each rate is kept with its source and the date it was last checked, and can be changed when the law changes
  • One company can run roles in several countries at the same time, each with its own benefits
  • Role limits, the package builder, review, counter offers, approvals and audit log work the same everywhere
  • CSV import and export, and PDF package summaries

What to know first

  • Salary packaging is offered for Australian and UK roles only. Take-home pay is an estimate that leaves out bonuses, most reliefs and other income
  • Employer cost covers the main charges for each person, such as Singapore CPF by residency and age and UK National Insurance relief. It does not cover every case, such as levies for some work passes
  • Each role has one currency, and a package is never converted. Totals across countries in analytics use exchange rates your company sets
  • Prices for Indiploy itself are in Australian dollars
  • Indiploy does not check an offer against local employment law, and its figures are planning estimates, not tax advice
